2024 Sustainability Report
MERRY’s Board of Directors approved a revised Group Environmental Sustainability Policy and Commitment in 2024, reaffirming the Group’s goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040. The RE100 (Renewable Energy Usage) target has been accelerated, with full adoption planned by 2030. To support this ambition, MERRY has developed a decarbonization roadmap and successfully received validation of its Near-term targets from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2025. By 2032, the Group aims to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50.4%, and Scope 3 emissions by 30%.In addition, MERRY continues to implement its policies on environmental protection, water resources, chemicals, biodiversity, and zero deforestation.
This report is prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards (2021) as the foundation for information disclosure. It also references industry-specific indicators from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) for the hardware sector, as well as the core metrics for stakeholder capitalism published by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
